A notice for "non-staff-members":
Right now, we're in a stage, that the builders have the core of the mod, but not any areas of the other builders! So if you see us getting excited, it's because we've not seen these areas before and won't have access to them, until the whole thing is to be assembled for launch.

How can everything look so... amazing

Looks amazing!!..but i'm dreading those places,that tileset does something weird to my machine and it goes all jerky and a nightmare to control

It isn't that difficult! The tileset gives you the frame, cause it's mostly pretty stiff. Then it's playing around with placeables - CEP gives you tons of it. And then setting the light -maybe backgrounds- to fill in some atmosphere. But you'll need some time to get to know, where to find the things you need. Try in your toolset!

Well, as written. Of course, it needs some time to fiddle with it, but the more you do it, the more creative your output will become.
As to your lack of time an patience... I cannot do anything about that!

I used a map for guidance for the layout and it shows towers and a wall, which don't look wooden. In the DL1-paper module it says "... white towers rise... Glistering with gold, ...". Doesn't sound like wood. AND the tileset I used has walkable walls, which I very much like.
I'm not sure, if I would rework it (time and energy ), but maybe you can find and send me your source.

In Soulforge when the party reaches Haven for the first time (a bit over half-way through the book) the town is described "Surrounded by a palisade to fight off preying wolves more than armies. No one had ever attacked to Haven and no one expected an attack there". I've only got finnish version of the book so I just threw together a quick translate from finnish to english, I'm sure there's some fancier way in english verison.

Anyhow, it clearly states that Haven is surrounded by palisade, not stone walls. But then again, it was many MANY years before war of the lance so maybe they build it just before the war...? Not sure about that one... But I did remember that the palisade was there in some point!

wish they were better quality, and of course these are not the most storied or exciting areas that krynn has to offer, so palanthas, solace, pax tharkas, these are the big guys and are next on the agenda for alot of us.
