| As you might know, we don't use the standard horse system, but that of Calan. So, there are quiet a few spots, where our engine checks for horses and tries to eg. prevent them from entering steps up the Vallenwood trees, doors, interiours, etc. . Quiet a few scripts handle this. Now, the Paladin Mount is a 1.69 system horse and the Calan scripts does not catch those mounts correctly or not at all. That already lead to some intresting effects like a Paladin, where the horse suddently dissapered while trying to get up a Vallenwood mouted. Besides the fact that the vanished horse was still regarded as a present henchman, the toon had a nice loud footstep - eh - hoof sound, which it couldn't get rid of by itself... Testwise I added lines to a dismount trigger script, to see, if it's possible to "catch" the paladin mout, too. Well, it's possible, but it's not a little task and not so easily ported to the other (countless) triggers... Lots of work and lots of time would go into this. And still, a script may be missed to get adjusted and cause similar strange things like the paladin mentioned above. SO, ATM, we are discussing to "just deactiavte" the summoning feat of the paladin. | OK, staff has decided to deactivate the default Paladin Mount. It's not too difficult to buy a horse (after some time) or get one via the KOS (needs RPing, of course .) This will happen with one of the next module updates. | |

| With the upcoming module version, the summoning of a Paladin Mount will be deactivated! If there is still a Paladin Mount with you, please contact a DM. They will give you a Unsummon Paladin Mount Widget. DO NOT TRY TO DO UNCOMMON THINGS with this mount (eg. climbing the stairs up into the Solace trees), because it causes problems (eg. a character with hoove-footstep sounds )! | |
